01 / THE GAME LOOP

Four beats.
One tiny mistake.

SmirkDuel is built around a rule everyone understands in seconds: do whatever it takes to make the other player smile, but never let your own face betray you. Each round moves quickly from role selection to camera setup, live pressure, result and rematch.

01

Pick your energy

Choose Joker to create the pressure or Stoneface to absorb it. The roles make every round feel different even before the camera starts.

Random role selection keeps repeat matches unpredictable.ROLE LOCKED
02

Show your face

Quick setup guidance helps position the face, check visibility and prepare both players without turning the party into a calibration session.

Clear framing means the result is easier to trust.FACE CHECK
03

Start the attack

Expressions, reactions and challenge content build pressure while the Smirk Meter turns tiny facial changes into visible tension.

The Joker performs; Stoneface survives the clock.CHAOS LIVE
04

Catch the crack

When a clear smile breaks through, the round ends and the result screen turns victory, defeat and the next challenge into one fast flow.

Switch roles, rematch and settle the argument.RUN IT BACK
02 / PICK A VIBE

Choose how the pressure hits.

Different situations need different kinds of pressure. Train your poker face against Solo content, share one device for an in-person duel, or create a room-code battle when your rival is somewhere else.

01
SOLO CHALLENGE

You vs. the feed.

Face a rotating feed of meme images, short clips and challenge cards. The goal is simple: stay composed while the content becomes progressively harder to ignore.

ONLINE BATTLE

Send the code.

Create a six-digit room, send it to a friend and meet in a live two-camera duel. Competitive results are finalized by SmirkDuel services before they can affect the Arena.

  • Live remote video
  • Ranked result integrity

Pass the phone.

Use one device for a face-to-face party battle. Pass the phone, swap Joker and Stoneface, and keep the rematches moving without accounts, rooms or global rating pressure.

03 / FACE LAB

The UI reacts before the room does.

The camera is part of the game, so feedback must stay readable under real-world lighting, movement and party chaos. SmirkDuel uses large visual cues to explain what the system can see and what the player needs to fix.

CAMERA

Stay visible

Face-position, distance and visibility guidance help players enter a round with a clear, usable camera view.

PRESSURE

Watch the meter

The Smirk Meter turns expression pressure into readable game feedback without pretending to identify who the player is.

FAIR PLAY

Same rules

Eyes-open, face-visible and obstruction warnings help both sides play under the same conditions.

ONLINE

Room ready

Connection and readiness states keep Online Battle understandable while the room and live video are being prepared.

Gameplay, not identity

Camera and expression signals are used to run the round and display warnings. They are not presented as biometric identification or a medical assessment.

Real rooms are messy

Distance, lighting, movement and partial face coverage can change what the camera sees, so the interface explains problems instead of silently guessing.

Fairness stays visible

Warnings are part of the player experience. Both sides can understand why a round pauses, continues or rejects an invalid condition.

04 / REACTION WALL

Built for the second somebody breaks.

SmirkDuel is built around the exact second composure disappears. Short challenges keep the setup minimal, reactions immediate and rematches more tempting than walking away with a loss.

05 / WHY IT HITS

A party game with a camera-sized twist.

The rules are tiny, but the social tension is not. SmirkDuel turns facial control, performance and friendly rivalry into something spectators understand immediately.

01

Two opposite roles

Joker wants a reaction. Stoneface wants silence. The asymmetry creates a story before either player says a word.

02

Low setup, fast payoff

Short rounds, obvious objectives and one-tap rematches keep the game moving when a group wants fun rather than instructions.

03

Moments worth sharing

The best part is not only who wins. It is the exact expression, failed poker face or ridiculous challenge everyone remembers afterwards.

04

A feed shaped by players

Moderated community submissions can expand the Solo challenge library, giving creators a path from one funny upload to future in-game pressure.

07 / GLOBAL ARENA

Climb. Flex. Repeat.

The Arena combines verified Solo and Online progress into Arena Points. The board keeps Solo survivals/runs and Online wins/losses separate, shows the first 100 positions in a scrollable view, and can locate any ranked username from three characters.

Top challengers

Podium

The current top three get the spotlight. First place receives the champion treatment, while the podium stays tied to the same live Arena Points data as the full board.

Top 100 standings

Arena

The board shows 10 rows at once and scrolls through the first 100. Players outside the top 100 appear as 100+ in search.

Fair competition

How it works

01

Server verified

Client-side claims never move the leaderboard. SmirkDuel services finalize eligible Solo and Online results and reject duplicate or invalid finalization attempts.

02

Solo + Online

Solo Challenge and Online Battle both build Arena Points. Their records stay visible in separate Solo and Online columns; Local Duel stays unranked.

03

One score, two records

Arena Points combine verified Solo and Online XP. Separate Solo and Online records keep each mode transparent.

Top 100 board

Ten rows remain visible at once, while internal scrolling keeps the first hundred competitors close without turning the landing into an endless table.

Global player search

Enter at least three characters to search the complete ranked index. Results outside the first hundred are deliberately marked 100+.

Five-second pulse

The hero statistics refresh independently. Automatic updates do not rebuild the podium or move the Arena while somebody is reading it.

QUICK ANSWERS

No mystery menu.

What is SmirkDuel?

A camera-powered expression battle where one player creates the pressure, the other protects a poker face, and the first clear smile loses the round.

What is the difference between Joker and Stoneface?

Joker performs, reacts and uses the challenge to provoke a smile. Stoneface tries to remain visibly calm until the round ends. Players can swap roles for the rematch.

Which game modes are planned?

Solo Challenge for personal survival rounds, Local Duel for one-device party play, and room-code Online Battle for live remote matches.

Why does the game need the camera?

The camera supports face visibility, expression-related gameplay and fair-play warnings. SmirkDuel does not present this as identity recognition or medical analysis.

Can I play online?

Yes. Create a room, share the six-digit code and meet a friend in a live two-camera face-off.

How does the Arena ranking work?

Verified Solo and Online rewards build Arena Points and determine the order. Solo survivals/runs and Online wins/losses remain visible separately; Local Duel does not affect the Arena.

Do I need an account?

Browsing the landing does not require one. Account-linked features such as community uploads use the Google account connected to an existing SmirkDuel profile.

Can I submit a meme?

Yes. Submit an original image or short video through the native landing form. Every upload is reviewed before it can be approved or published.

What content should I submit?

Original, permission-cleared content that can create a funny reaction without illegal, hateful, sexual, violent or privacy-invasive material.

When can I download it?

Public Android and iOS links will appear here when the builds are ready. Until then, the site shows the current game direction and community features.
